You cannot live by faith unless you’re walking in grace. The bible says, “And when He had come, He gave much help to those who had faith through grace: (Acts 18:27)
Faith comes through grace.
The clearer the revelation of God’s grace, the easier it is for you to demonstrate God’s faith (strong faith).
To practice strong faith you must see God’s grace clearly!
Grace is a person… Jesus Christ!
Grace came to earth through Jesus Christ.
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” (John 1:13)
The reason Grace and Truth came, is because Jesus came.
Grace and truth are intrinsic qualities of our Lord and Savior; they are not goodies He brings with Him like Santa bringing toys for well-behaved kids.
Grace is as much a part of whom Jesus is as is Truth.
Jesus told His disciples He is the Truth. (John 14:6)
In the same way, He is the Grace… the undeserved favor of God.
Grace is undeserved favor.
Jesus Christ is the undeserved favor of God to a dying world.
When we were yet in our sins, God sent His only begotten Son to be the Savior of the world. (Romans 5:8; John 3:16)
He is the favor we get from God but didn’t deserve… He is the grace given to us by our heavenly Father!
When we receive Jesus, we receive grace… we receive favor we didn’t deserve!
So, to know Jesus… is to know grace.
The clearer the revelation of Jesus Christ is, the clearer our understanding of grace is.
The clearer our understanding of Grace is, the stronger our demonstration of Faith is.
Faith works through grace.
So, the opposite of this is true.
The less you understand and practice the grace of God, the weaker your faith will be.
And the opposite of Grace is Law!
