When praying, don’t do so as though God is very far away while He is all around and within you through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Don’t allow your inability to both see and touch Him to hinder you from trusting Him because His divine presence is infinitely more real than your surroundings.
His presence is far more real and closer to you than you could have ever imagined because His great power is all active in holding all things of the creation together.
One thing you really need to stress on is that God cares about you infinitely more than you could have ever cared about yourself. And He loves you infinitely more than you could have ever loved yourself. Besides, He’s the One who has taught us how to love ourselves by allowing Him to occupy first place in our lives. Loving self is pride and arrogance at its best which is self-destructive.
Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf (Hebrews 9:24).
You need to pray with a firm confidence and assurance that God is right in front of you listening attentively and concerningly to your prayer request. Visualize yourself approaching His throne of grace through the shedding blood of Jesus under the leading, anointing, and power of the Holy Spirit. Moreover, visualize yourself humbling yourself before Him as your communing with Him on His throne with Your Savior and Lord seated at His right hand.
You need to pray by fully engaging your mind and heart to what you’re doing by being consciously aware that you’re addressing your heavenly Father. Not only that, you are addressing the supreme God of the universe. That’s why you have to avoid distractions at any cost, so that you can better focus on Him, particularly His limitless greatness and power. He does not lose track of His children and watches over them with infinite, patient, intimate Fatherly care.
Don’t ever underestimate the power of prayer by taking it as just a routine or by being lazy, ignorant, negligent, or reluctant to the extent that it loses its real purpose in our lives. You need to constantly reminding yourself that there’s immense power in prayer. The effectiveness of your prayer is based on knowing the Word of God, you need to spend time reading the Word in order to strengthen your prayer life.
Don’t measure the effectiveness of prayer by what you ask that you haven’t received or haven’t received yet from God.
The main purpose of prayer is for us to be able to connect our lives to God in order for Him to unleash His divine power is us to empower us to live the life He desirea for us to live.
The first and foremost reason we’re to pray is to build up our spiritual lives by strengthening our relationship with God Almighty.
If we have material needs pertaining to our daily life, such as finances, food, fashions, and our earthly future, we lift them up to Him through prayer. However, He will answer our prayer in accordance with His will.
Father God, I enter Your divine presence in this moment in the supreme authority, power, and dominion of the name of Jesus through the redemption His blood has provided me on the cross. Since His atonement is sufficient; therefore, I have full confidence and assurance that You’re attentively and concerningly listening to my request as a loving, caring, and gracious Father.
Dear Heavenly Father, I boldly come into Your divine presence in the authority and power of the name of Jesus. The very name which is fully backed up by all dominion, authority, and power of heaven and earth. The name that is above every name. I come to Your presence through His shedding blood which gives me full access to Your throne room, which is the very center of all authority, power, dominion, and majesty. I’ve come under the leading, inspiration, revelation, anointing, and power of the Holy Spirit.
Nevertheless, what’s your viewpoint about this throne? Well, the throne is representative of authority and majesty, and it’s a sitting place for a king.
May Your divine favor, grace, and protection rest upon me to enable me to get where You want me to get and accomplish what You want me to accomplish for Your own glory in Jesus’ name.
Your prayer might go something like this:
In the Name of Jesus Christ, with the authority given to me as a Child of God and as the Seed of Abraham, I bind all enemies of Christ from operating in my life and command you to leave me alone.
I bind all activity of enemy spirits in the Name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Ghost.
I command you to cease and desist your filthy works and go to where Jesus would send you. Amen!
Lord Jesus, thank you for filling and surrounding me with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Give me Your direction, Lord on how to proceed. Amen.”
Prayer by the spirit that is strong and powerful. Without prayer the, atmosphere would be heavy and unbearable on the people of God.
Without prayer, the church would not stand before their attack because they are very powerful.
The only weapon is fervent prayer and a holy life. The use of the name of Jesus Christ against demons without holy life and a dedicated life of prayer will not work.
